About Paul van der Salm
Relationship Banking Officer
Paul worked in a number of customer service roles prior to transitioning into banking. Now, he specializes in helping nonprofits, the commercial and industrial (C&I) industry and professional services with understanding their treasury management needs. In his community, he uses his banking expertise to teach financial literacy classes through Financial Beginnings at places like Next Success. He also serves as vice president of the board at A Caring Closet and treasurer of Cappella Romana. The son of Dutch immigrants and growing up on his parents bulb farm, he credits that experience for teaching him business skills from an early age.
