Laura Sandstrom
Branch Manager
Laura started her banking career at Heritage Bank in 2010 after 20 years of service at a number of high-end jewelers as a diamond buyer. Although the industries are different, the attention on customer service and merchant development remains the same. In her current role as a relationship manager, she focuses on building relationships with her customers and growing the branch organically. They help all types of customers, from business banking to commercial lending to consumer deposits. Like her dedication to her customers, Laura also serves her community by serving as a board member for the San Juan Island Community Foundation, volunteering at the San Juan Community Theatre and teaching a financial wellness course to outgoing seniors at Spring Street International School. She is a sixth generation San Juan Islander, collects vintage watches and likes to go hiking.
